Customer Reviews. Safety 1st Heavenly Dreams White Crib Mattress We were in need of a new crib mattress, and after looking at both Target and Babies R Us, I had an idea of what one would cost. Of course, I got on Amazon (I love Amazon!) to see what they offered. I found this mattress, and based on the other reviews, and the price (it was on sale), we decided to go for it. I figured I could always return it if it turned out to be a dud. It arrived quickly and was packaged in heavy duty plastic. It is nice and firm, but not too firm, and is almost identical to the mattress I looked at at Target that was $69. It does not have a metal support running around the edge of the mattress, but I didn't expect it to. In my opinion, it is a good value for your money.
